Our Champions League final challenge drove insane demand among football fans
To communicate Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility message through an exciting experience for football fans at the UEFA Champions Festival.
The fun, football-led activation was designed to mirror the capabilities of Nissan’s 360 Pro Pilot feature and engineered to challenge each player’s vision, control and shooting accuracy. Custom individual and dual gameplay modes and a dynamic scoring system meant that whatever your level of football skill, you could still have an enjoyable experience.
A live leaderboard, with the prize of winning tickets to the sold-out Champions League final, added a competitive edge, and a short video captured during gameplay provided each player with personalised shareable content to amplify the activity online.
The open nature of the experience created a spectacle for all passing fans during the 4 live days, with constant queues meaning we were at maximum capacity – with 1 in 5 returning to try to equal or better their score in order to try to top the leaderboard.
The experience was first created for the final in Kiev and was so successful that it was repurposed for the subsequent final in Madrid. It was shortlisted for most effective sponsorship activation.
